Just to make sure the program was safe i scanned it with malwarebytes 4.4.0.117 and it detected nothing, in the past it actually detected iobit as PUP or malware.
So ive been using iobit software for a while now, around 2 months. The screens seemed to resize themselves weirdly and then returned to normal after a few seconds. Running FRST went fine, but when I ran the malwarebytes scan my computer sort of glitched out for a second right at the end of the scan.
Many other unrelated subreddits likely exist, and many more away from Reddit. The person who operated it was identified and has deleted their Reddit account. The main subreddit from the BBC investigation has been shut down. Hoarding of images ensures that if the original source goes down, someone else is almost guaranteed to simply repost the theoretically lost photographs. This makes it quite difficult to guarantee that stolen images are gone forever.
